Intensive Outpatient Programs

What is IOP? (Intensive Outpatient Program) :

Intensive Outpatient Treatment is a group therapy service recommended in some circumstances by a clinical and medical assessment, and might be more suitable for those who do not need medically-supervised settings such as hospital, residential, rehab or detoxification center. The programs can serve as a step down for those transitioning from a higher level of care ( residential, Hospital) or step up, needing more than individual therapy. IOP can also enable people to continue their healing/recovery process while keeping up with their job, school, family life, etc. . They are conducted in a group setting, separated into three programs for two different age groups – for adults (ages 18 and up) and adolescents (ages 12 to 17 ½ years).
