All of our services, whether in a group or individual setting, focus on three broad spectrums of mental health.
I. Mood Disorders: a range of psychological disorders that cause alterations in one’s general emotional state.
These are three main types of mood disorders, however, we also treat many subtypes that fall within these broad categories. For example: obsessive compulsive disorder, trauma, stress, self-esteem, family/relationship dynamics, post traumatic stress disorder, anger management, and mindfulness.
- Bipolar Disorder
II. Eating Disorders: an array of psychological disorders that cause abnormalities in one’s eating habits, whether due to a distorted sense of self, low self-esteem, or emotional factors.
We also treat other non-specific eating disorders.
- Anorexia Nervosa
- Bulimia Nervosa
- Binge Eating
III. Dual Diagnosis: When one experiences addiction along with a psychological disorder, whether as the cause or as onset symptoms.
- Substance abuse
- Other addictions
Addiction often brings on symptoms of anxiety, depression, or mania and alters one’s physical and mental health. Sometimes, a psychological disorder may be the underlying cause behind one’s addiction. We focus on determining the factors behind the addiction, treating coinciding symptoms that come along with it, and offering mental techniques to move forward in recovery.
Our facility offers individual counseling , group therapy , and psychiatry for all of our treatment categories.
We have two separate phone numbers for individual vs. group services. You can call our receptionist line (949)-551-4272 and notify us whether you are seeking individual or IOP services.
